N°05 by Cappelen Dimyr
no.05 is a contemporary yet timeless hand-knotted rug in natural wool. The soft fields of shaggy wool pattern create an organic and bohemian vibe to this signature piece. The rug is made in natural and unbleached New Zealand wool in color "shell" a soft off white. A braided chunky fringe edge elevates the end line and adds an arty and ethnic detail.
Any variation in color or detailing is a result of the handcrafted nature of this item and makes each piece unique. Please also note this is a partly long pile and shaggy rug which usually have a tendency to shed more than low pile rugs. Make sure to vacuum often to reduce this.

Care Instructions
Cappelen Dimyr is produced by hand in the finest wool with long and strong fibers. Because of its natural structure, the long pile rugs tend to shed initially, and it is therefore recommended to vacuum the rugs daily in the beginning. It is common for rugs to lose individual fibers, and this has been taken in to consideration in all Cappelen Dimyr designs, to make sure that the excess fibers do not affect the quality of the rug. It is recommended flat spout when vacuuming long pile rugs to avoid damaging the yarn. Make sure not to use a heavy beater bar. Shedding tends to decrease within a couple of months, but will not entirely subside.
No chemicals - Natural wool
Cappelen Dimyr uses only natural
fibers such as unbleached linen and wool in an effort to make products thathave minimal harmful impact on the environment. Every piece is trimmed by hand,washed with natural soap, and dried under the sun. Cappelen Dimyr uses no chemicals in any part of the production, and constantly strives to improve their practices in respect for people and the planet. The products are certified by Good Weave Certification and Care & Fair.
