FIERCE FEMALE
In the painting, two female figures grace a garden adorned with sacred geometric flowers, seemingly engaged in either battle or a heated argument. Positioned to the left stands a depiction of a sculpture I crafted in 2012, known as Origine Oscura. This figure embodies an ancient fertility goddess marred by deformity and wounds accumulated from years of neglect and mistreatment. She embodies a poignant symbolism, no longer able to bestow life but compelled to consume it through her enraged vagina dentata. In many ways, she mirrors Lilith, the devouring mother archetype, and reflects aspects of my own maternal experience.
